Minimum Training & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with prior EMT experience, OR
- Associate's Degree in EMS
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered
- Current South Carolina Paramedic Certification
- Valid South Carolina Driver’s License
- Certifications in ACLS and CPR required
Starting Salary: $50,116.52 (first-year medic)
Experience Pay: Add $1,020.12 per certified year of experience (up to 20 years)
Salary Range: $50,116.52 – $70,518.98

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Requires a high school diploma OR GED with prior EMT experience or an Associate's Degree in EMS OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
